We know that essential workers everywhere have been on the frontlines of this pandemic for almost a year now, helping our ordinary normalities feel a little more extraordinary by simply showing up.

As we absolutely acknowledge rapid response staff such as firefighters and medical folks, we want to spotlight our unsung heroes, as well.

Service industry friends, day care staff, transit folks - we see you and we honor you.

Out of gratitude for our essential workers, we are partnering with @dcfridgecollective along with @for_the_people.by_the_people , @thevillage.dc & @happyfacesela to host The Pay-It-Forward Pop Up, a week of uplifting and serving those who continue to serve us.
